c) Invert the assembly and remove the Syringe
from the Filling/Vial Adapter by employing a
counterclockwise turn, as shown in figure 13.
NOTE: If injection is not to be given immediately,
replace protective Syringe Cap.
NOTE: If needed, remove protective Syringe Cap.
a) Remove thumb from the Multi-function Button,
allowing the blue retractable core to move, and apply
the Syringe perpendicular (90°) to the prepared
injection site.
b) Push the Syringe against the injection site until the
blue retractable core stops moving.
c) To inject, depress the Multi-function Button to
activate the Injector. A "click" will be heard upon
injection.
d) Verify Syringe contents were delivered by inspecting
that the Syringe Plunger has advanced completely to
the Syringe tip.
Intramuscular Injection:
● Injecting straight into the tissue maximizes the
depth of penetration, as shown in figure 14.
