Advice for operation
• Larger food pieces should be cut into pieces of approx. 1-2 cm in size before blending.
• For a better blending result, do not add overly large quantities into the blending container at once. Blend
smaller individual quantities and then combine them again after blending.
12. Handling
• Never connect the mains plug to a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken from a cold
to a warm environment. The resulting condensation may destroy the device. Allow the device to reach
room temperature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation has evaporated.
• Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Never pull the mains plug from the mains socket by the cable. Only pull it from the mains socket by the
intended grip areas.
• Always pull it from the socket using the intended grips.
• Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket during thunderstorms for reasons of safety.
13. Cleaning
Pull the mains plug from the socket before cleaning the device.
Never bring the mains line (6), the mains plug or the motor unit (3) into contact with water or
other liquids to avoid the risk of electrical shock.
Proceed with care with removing the shaft (4) and cleaning the parts. The sharp cutting blade
in particular may cause injury from wrong treatment.
a) Removing the shaft
• Turn the shaft (4) counter-clockwise until the arrow matches the open-lock symbol.
• Pull off the shaft (4) from the motor unit (3).
