7. General safety notes
The guarantee/warranty will expire if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with
these operating instructions. We do not assume any liability for consequential damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper
use or failure to observe the safety information. In such cases the guarantee/warranty will
expire!
Dear Customer: The following safety information is intended not only for the protection of the
device but also for the protection of your health. Please read the following items carefully:
• For safety reasons, any unauthorized conversions and/or modifications to the product are not
permitted.
• This device is a protection class II product. Only a proper mains socket (220-240 V/50/60 Hz) of
the public supply net must be used as voltage source.
• The mains socket must be close to the device and easily accessible.
• Never touch the device or the mains plug with wet or damp hands. There is the risk of a poten-
tially fatal electric shock.
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the respective mains socket
on all poles (e.g. via the respective circuit breaker and FI switch) and then carefully pull the
mains plug from the mains socket. Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
• Do not continue to use the device after interferences, after a fall or in case of defects, but take
it to a specialist for repair. Improper repairs may cause considerable dangers to the user.
• Never bring the connection line, the mains plug or the motor unit into contact with water or
other liquids to avoid the risk of electrical shock.
• Use no accessories that have not been released by the manufacturer. Use of accessory parts
that the manufacturer does not expressly recommend may cause injury or damage.
• Never use the device outdoors.
• Handle the product with care. It can be damaged by impact, blows or when dropped even from
a low height.
• Do not leave packing material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
• If you are not sure about the correct connection or operation or if questions arise which are
not covered by the operating instructions, please do not hesitate to contact our technical
support or another specialist.
