6. Gently dip your food (sliced/cut in cubes or small bite pieces) into the
pot, using the supplied forks. Lay the forks on the dedicated notches on
the fork ring.
7. Caution: to prevent oil from splattering, make sure that the food has
been perfectly drained. If you are using frozen food, you must first
ensure that they have defrosted completely.
8. After cooking, take the forks out and drop the food on your plate.
Caution: never put the fondue fork directly in your mouth, you
could get seriously burnt!
9. Once finished, turn the thermostat knob to the MN position and
unplug the appliance.
• The red indicator light will go out.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Turn the thermostat knob to the MIN position and then unplug the appliance
from the mains socket. Allow it to cool down to room temperature before
cleaning.
Clean the fondue pot, fondue fork ring and forks in warm soapy water. Rinse
and dry them thoroughly. Clean the heating base using a slightly damp cloth.
Do not immerse it in water or any other liquid. Never use any abrasive or
chemical cleaning agents.
Surfaces in contact with food should be cleaned regularly to avoid cross
contamination from different types of food, the use of warm clean water with
a mild detergent is advisable when dealing with surfaces that come into
contact with food. Correct food hygiene practices should always be
followed at all times to avoid possibility of food poisoning /cross
contamination.
