ed, fix the baffle with the socket screw.
Adjusting the baffle:
• If the total length of the pipe system has been calculated
to between 1-12 m (examples 1, 2 & 3).
Baffle at 40 mm.
Slide the baffle in as far as it will go, the opening will auto-
matically be 40 mm.
• If connected with 1-1.5 m vertical pipe, a 90° bend and a
wall duct.
No baffle.
• If connected with 1-1.5 m vertical pipe, a 90° bend and
then 1-4 m horizontal pipe, as shown in example 4.
No baffle.
Fig. 3 illustrates how to calculate the total lengths.

Connecting the Gas Supply

An approved connecting tap with coupling should be used
in the supply hose (In Belgium this must be B.G.V.
approved). Furthermore:
• Expel all air from the supply pipes/hoses before coupling
to the appliance.
• Do not turn the coupling tap when connecting it to the
gas supply.
• Avoid any pressure on the control tap and pipes.
• Check that all connections are gastight.

Fitting the glass panel

Once the logs are in place, the glass can be replaced in the
brackets nges and tightened with the two socket-head
bolts. In the event of damage or breakage, the glass should
be replaced immediately.
Mounting the front panel Colourline and
Quadro (fig. 9)
The frames for the Colourline and Quadro are packed
separately from the base set.
Before fitting the mounting frame (D), first loosen the
front frame (E), by:
removing the 2 sheet metal screws (A), for the Colourline
or removing the bracket (B), for the Quadro.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION
Fix the mounting frame to the base set with the sheet
metal screws (C).
Now hang the front frame onto the mounting frame.
For the Colourline, hang one of the coloured sheets sup-
plied at the top and bottom (F).
Additional coloured sheets, available in 138 RAL colours,
can be ordered from your installer.
Your installer has a RAL fan with the entire range of avail-
able colours.
For safety reasons a guard should be placed in front of the
fire at all times.
