Tightening the stabiliser rod, Fig. 4.2
Tighten the screws (M8x25 mm) with 30 Nm and se-
cure them with lock nuts to fasten the stabiliser rod.
Ensure that the previously marked centre of the sta-
biliser rod is still at the centre of the caravan or trailer
base.

Checking, Fig. 6.1
Finally, check that the clamping assembly is comple-
te, in good working order and properly seated.
Please check that all screws have been fastened and
no parts were forgotten!
6. Installation,
electrical system
Separate the 12 V and 230 V supply from the battery
and the power mains.
Working on the electrical installation wi-
thout first separating the power supply po-
ses a mortal risk!

Installing the base station
Select a suitable place for the installation of the base
station, e.g. in the seat or bed base, ideally in imme-
diate proximity of the drive units within a minimum
distance of 40 cm to the battery. The base station can
be installed on the floor or on the wall.
Pay attention to whether a horizontal or
vertical position is required when moun-
ting on a wall!
Use the appropriate screws to mount the base station.
Remove the housing cover from the base station by
pushing the 2 clips forwards. To connect the driving
cables, drill 1 hole for each cable, minimum diameter
of 25 mm, approximately 150 mm away from the base
station in the vehicle floor. Make sure that nothing is
installed and there are no load-bearing parts in or un-
der the floor, or behind the wall, in the area where you
are drilling the holes.
E2
Connecting the motors/motor drive/brake
Lay the cables supplied with the left and right dri-
ve unit to the base station. You must take note of the
connection diagram (pay attention to the differen-
ce between front-axle and rear-axle installation).
Thread the connections for the base stations up and
through the bore holes you just created.
Use the clamps provided to route and secure the cab-
les. Use the electrical installation pipe that is already
on the cable to protect the cable against sharp edges.
Mark the cable for the left and right drive unit to en-
sure safe installation.
Always keep the cables for all drive units at the same
length. Avoid loops.
Never route the cables directly above the base sta-
tion or other electronic devices. They could become
damaged due to the strong magnetic radiation gene-
rated during operation.
