ADVANTAGES
With cordless sound transmission, you can be independent from cables!
According to current scientific knowledge, sound transmission by infra-red
light poses no risk to health whatsoever.
High reception reliability due to the carrier frequencies of 2.3 MHz and
2.8 MHz. Fluorescent tubes and digital controls do not use this frequency range.
Lightweight and extremely comfortable to wear - the receiver weighs only
45 g, including the rechargeable accupack!
ACCUPACK OPERATION
When the accupack becomes weak (noise interference and sound distortion
are sure signs of a weak accupack), switch off the receiver and recharge the
accupack. (If necessary, use a second accupack to listen while the first
accupack is being recharged.)
Recharge the accupack immediately when it is flat. If the accupack is flat but
is left in the switched on receiver, this reduces the service life of the accupack
("total discharge").
As far as possible, use the full capacity of an accupack before you recharge
it. Frequent short discharge and recharge cycles prematurely reduce its
charging capacity.
CHARGING THE ACCUPACKS
The stethoset receivers are powered by BA 151 accupacks which can be
recharged either separately or in the receivers. Depending on the application,
there are different possibilities for recharging the accupacks.
The BA 151 can be recharged
in the Set 250 and Set 500 transmitters,
in the L 151 charger (suitable for charging two individual accupacks) or
in the L 151-10 charging unit.
For commercial use, Sennheiser offers charging and transport/storage units
for recharging a larger number of stethoset receivers at a time.
The BA 151 accupack must be charged for 24 hours before first use! Please
refer to the corresponding section in the operating manual of your infra-red
transmission system or the operating manuals for the chargers.
