Important:
Do not make dimensional
corrections with the elec-
tronics switched off. Failure
to comply will result in an
undefined cutting position
and the precision boring tool will have to be
recalibrated using an adjustment device.
Battery replacement (Fig. 7)
The two integrated batteries have a service life of ap-
prox. 5500 adjustment cycles. We recommend keeping
replacement batteries (FS2122) at hand at all times.
If „Low battery" is shown on the display, the batteries
will last for approximately 50 more adjustment cycles.
When the „Low battery" display flashes, the batteries
are flat and must be replaced.
When the batteries are exchang - ed, the sealing
ring (FS2121) in the cover (FS2123) must also be
exchanged, because this is the of preventing coolant
from entering the battery compartment.
Only batteries with the following specification must be
used for operating this precision tool:
VARTA Type Number V392 –
Silver oxide / Zinc / KOH-Electrolyte.
Only these batteries have been tested in relation to
the high centrifugal forces involved. To change the
batteries, open the battery compartment
Use a Torx T20 service key to open the unit, remove the
old batteries and dispose of them correctly. Close the
battery compartment again carefully.

After use, simply clean the tool and lightly grease the
serrated edges. To ensure that the tools retain their
value in the long term, store them in a dry location and
lightly coat them with a thin film of oil from time to
