Important:

Do not fit the bridge without
the coolant delivery piece.
Always secure this delivery
piece using the two tapered
setscrews, otherwise there
is a risk of accident from the setscrews
becoming loose.
Clamping (Fig. 6)
The tool is equipped with a locking screw
is clamped by the locking screw in such a way as to
prevent changes in diameter (tightening torque 8 Nm).
The slide must be clamped by this locking screw at all
times during cutting. This clamping mechanism
must be operated before and after any ad-
justment is made.

Important:
Do not adjust the diameter
with the tool in clamped
condition. Adjustment parts
could otherwise be damaged.
Diameter adjustment (Fig. 6)
This precision boring tool has an electronic path-
measuring system with digital display.
The following procedure must be observed for diameter
adjustment (Fig. 6):
1. Switch on the digital display by pressing the "ON/
Reset" button. When it switches on, the display
shows the measurement value last displayed. Au-
tomatic switch-off 30 seconds after the end of the
adjustment procedure. Maximum switch-on period
120 seconds.
2. Loosen locking screw
3. To adjust the turning range, turn adjusting screw
using a hexagon key 4 and read the display (adjust-
ment path = diameter adjustment path). The value
displayed is the actual adjustment path at the slide
or at the insert. Please note:
(+) prefix = increase in diameter, (–) prefix = decre-
ase in diameter.
4. Tighten locking screw
Notes:
• To reset the display to "0", press the "ON/Reset"
repeatedly with the display switched on
• Never operate the button using pointed or sharp
objects
• The value displayed is always the difference between
the current setting and the previously set value, or
0. An absolute slide position cannot be displayed
