10. Connection of Headphones
Common headphones can be connected to the 3.5 mm stereo plug socket "PHONES/OUTPUT" (42) at the rear of the keyboard.
Playback via the integrated speakers is automatically switched off.
Proceed as follows for connection:
• Reduce the volume of the keyboard as far as possible.
• Connect the headphones with the 3.5 mm stereo plug socket
"PHONES/OUTPUT".
• Set a low volume at the keyboard and verify it, e.g. by playing on the
clavier; put on the headphones carefully. Now set the desired volume.
Note:
If the volume is too high you may damage your hearing. There-
fore, set the volume to be pleasant and not too loud!
11. Connection of an External Amplifier
An external amplifier (e.g. of a stereo system) can be connected to the 3.5 mm stereo plug socket "PHONES/OUTPUT" (42) at the
rear of the keyboard.
Playback via the integrated speakers is automatically switched off.
Proceed as follows for connection:
• Reduce the volume of the keyboard as far as possible. The same applies for the
amplifier.
• Connect the amplifier with the 3.5 mm stereo plug socket "PHONES/OUTPUT". Al-
ways select an analogue input with line level, e.g. the TAPE or AUX input.
• Set a low volume at the keyboard and the amplifier and verify it, e.g. by playing on the
clavier; put on the headphones carefully. Now set the desired volume.
Note:
If the volume is too high you may damage your hearing. Therefore, set the
volume to be pleasant and not too loud!
