Starting the watch
Crown in position 1. This position
enables manual winding of the
self-winding movement, meaning
winding by rotating the crown
upwards ( ), about 30 to 35 turns.
Afterwards, when worn on the wrist,
the watch is automatically rewound.
If not worn, it will stop after about
45 hours. When the hand of the
p o w e r-reserve segment F indicates 45,
it means that the watch has around
45 hours of reserve running time.

Setting the time
Pull the crown out to position 2. Tu r n
the crown upwards ( ) to move the
hands forwards to the date change at
midnight. Then set your watch to the
desired time by turning the hands
(Please note: if you set your watch
during the afternoon, you must first
move the hands past noon). For accur-
ate time-setting, ensure that the last
operation was done in a clockwise
direction. Then push the crown back
to position 1. After this operation,
rotate the crown downwards ( ) to
make sure it turns freely.
