the brewing process has finished.

Notes / Solution
Use a paper filter size "1 x 4".
Use less coffee powder.
When preparing coffee with beans select a lower coffee strength by using
the
button.
Decalcify the appliance as described.
Start a new grinding process and then try again. Do not force the blocked
regulator to turn.
1. Disconnect the mains plug immediately.
2. Remove the coffee pot and the paper filter.
3. Empty the water tank by carefully tilting the appliance to the side.
4. Open the container of the coffee beans.
5. Empty the container of the coffee beans by carefully tilting the appliance to
the side.
6. Loosen the four screws in the coffee bean container with a Phillips screw-
driver.
7. Remove the container of the coffee beans.
CAUTION:
Do not loosen the screw of the grinder.
8. Set the regulator of coarseness setting to position 8.
9. Remove coffee bean residues with a dry brush.
10. Use a vacuum cleaner. Hold the suction tube over the open grinder and
remove the grinding residues.
11. Reattach the coffee bean container to the appliance. Tighten the screws
hand-tight. Do not overtighten the screws.
12. Before restarting the operation check the appliance settings.
13. If the repair of the appliance is no longer possible, contact our service
department or your local vendor.
1. Disconnect the mains plug immediately.

3. Empty the water tank by carefully tilting the appliance to the side.
4. Put the appliance on its rear side.
5. Use a paper towel and clean the area underneath the grinder.
6. Once the area is completely dry, you may use a small brush and a vacuum
cleaner. Thereby, you remove coffee ground residues which possibly block
the grinder closure.
7. Connect the plug to the socket.
Now the grinder closure should
automatically close the grinder
tunnel again.
8. Disconnect the plug from the
socket once more.
9. Clean the area underneath the
closure, which now became
visible, as mentioned above.
10. If the repair of the appliance is
no longer possible, contact our
service department or your local vendor.
