Thank you very much for choosing a truss system from GLOBAL TRUSS.
Please read the following manual carefully before using this truss for the first
time and consider the following information and regulations.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Intended Use

Trusses and truss constructions can only be used to suspend static loads. The assembly has to be done by
trained and competent persons. Use only original Global Truss products. The use of trusses or parts from
different manufacturers is not permitted.

Equipotential Bonding

All truss systems are to be earthed via a suitable equipotential bonding. A non-powder-coated area must be
used for powder-coated trusses. The cross-section of the equipotential bonding must be of sufficient size
and tested in accordance with local electrical regulations (see igvw SQP4 / BS7671)
Use of trusses as a vertical support
Our truss can also be installed to support vertical. A static calculation is always necessary for this, please
consult a structural engineer at the design stage and follow any construction plans carefully. Please factor in
any possible transverse forces (e.g. wind forces) when designing and rigging truss systems.
General behaviour during assembly and dismantling
Suitable personal protective equipment (in accordance with the risk assessment) must always be worn
when assembling and dismantling trusses. Before each use, all components must be visually checked for
defects (visual inspection). The static calculation of the respective system must be observed.
