MAINTENANCE OF TRUSSES
Like any metal, aluminum forms an oxide layer when it comes into contact with oxygen. This oxide layer is not a quality
defect and protects the crossbeam from corrosive destruction.
Therefore, do not clean the crossbeams with aggressive cleaning material. Use warm water and a soft cotton cloth for
cleaning. Under no circumstances should you treat the connectors with lubricants.
STORAGE OF TRUSSES
Please always store the trusses in a dry place. Storage outdoors is not recommended, especially in winter.
TRANSPORT OF TRUSSES
Trusses are sensitive components made of aluminum that are exposed to immense forces. Please also handle all
components carefully during transport.
Be sure to observe the road traffic regulations during transport! All trusses have to be secured adequately against moving
during transport. Transport bags or roller boards from Global Truss are ideal for transport. Please contact your Global Truss
