NO PUMP
1. Test the Pump.
UNPLUG THE SMARTWASHER. Remove the timer wires
#2, #4, #5, and #6 on the upper Terminal Block. Move the
brown pump wire at #5 on the lower side to #2 on the
upper side of the Terminal Block. Plug the unit in and turn
the pump toggle switch on. Does the pump come on? If it
does, then the timer is defective and needs to be
replaced. Leave the timer wires disconnected to use the
SmartWasher until the new timer is received. If the pump
does not come on, proceed to the step 2. (When the new
timer comes in remember to move the wire from upper
terminal #2 back down to lower terminal #5 before
connecting the new timer).
2. Test the Switch.
UNPLUG THE SMARTWASHER. Remove the toggle
switch wires from bottom #3 and #8 on the Terminal Block
and check the resistance with the ohmmeter. If the toggle
switch is in the off position the meter should read infinity
(open). If the toggle switch is in the ON position, the meter
should read 0 ohms (closed). If you don't get these
readings, the toggle switch is defective and needs to be
replaced. If not, go to step 3. (Do not reconnect any
wires). Move the brown pump wire back to #5, reconnect
the timer and toggle switch wires removed in the previous
steps.
3. If the toggle switch readings are correct, the timer is
defective and needs to be replaced. To continue using the
SmartWasher until the new timer is received, reconnect
the toggle switch wires to #3 and #8, leaving the timer
disconnected and the brown pump wire in upper #2. The
pump will run by turning the toggle switch ON and OFF.
When you receive the new timer remember to move the
brown pump wire in upper terminal #2 back down to lower
terminal #5 before connecting it.
