IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When installing/using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions
should always be observed, including the following:
1. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local
voltage before you connect the appliance.
2. WARNING – Do not use this appliance near water in
bathtubs, basins or other vessels.
3. For additional protection, we advise you to install a residual current devi-
ce (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA in the
electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used on or near
children or some disabled people. Store out of children's reach.
5. Never block the air grilles.
6. If the appliance overheats, it will switch off automatically. Unplug the
appliance and let it cool down for a few minutes. Before you switch the
appliance on again, check the grilles to make sure they are not blocked by
fluff, hair, etc.
7. Do not direct the airflow towards the eyes or other sensitive areas.
8. Neither should the appliance be used with wet hands nor immersed in
water, held in running water, or allowed to become wet.
9. Do not use the hair dryer for purposes other than drying and styling
human hair.
10. Do not pull the cord with unnecessary force. Never wrap the cord arou-
nd the appliance since this will cause the cord to wear prematurely and
break. If the supply cord of this appliance becomes damaged the appliance
must be replaced by returning to the retailer from which the product was
purchased or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard.
11. Always switch the appliance off before putting it down, even if it is only
for a moment.
12. Clean the appliance after use to avoid the accumulation of grease and
other residues.

14. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
15. WARNING – Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
DRYING
The hair dryer is equipped with a microswitch which prevents its use ex-
cept when held in the hand. It has various operating levels for gentle or fast
drying. As the appliance is rated Class II, it does not need earthing.
1. Remove the hair dryer from the support
2. Select the desired setting (1, 2 , C)
3. Press the on/off button to switch on. The appliance will automatically
switched off when the button is released.
4. The airflow and temperature can be adjusted to different heat position:
2: fast setting-strong airflow for drying.
1: style setting-low airflow for gentle drying and styling.
C: cool setting – less heat and speed for blow drying.
5. Dry your hair by making brushing movements while holding the dryer at
a small distance from your hair.
CLEANING
1. The appliance can be cleaned with a dry cloth.
2. The attachments can be cleaned with a moist cloth or rinsed under a
running tap.
3. Never rinse the appliance with water.
NOTE
This product falls within the scope of the Waste Electrical &
Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) 2002/96 EC. This
product
should not be disposed of with household waste. Please
recycle
where facilities exist. For recycling and proper disposal,
contact your local authorities.
This equipment complies with the regulations in European directives
2006/95/EC and 2004/108/EC.
