Dealing with faults
The dishwasher is able to indicate a whole range of faults by simultaneously turning on a number
of indicator lights with the following meanings:
E1
E2
E3
E4
E5
If any faults occur, the machine will interrupt the program that is in operation and indicate the
fault.
If E1, E2 or E3 occur, the washing program will need to be reset in order restart it.
If E4 or E5 occur, it will be sufficient to open the door and then close it again (after remedying the
cause of the defect).
The anti-flooding protective device has been
activated (only for models fitted with the AQUASTOP
device). This fault will be indicated in the event of
leakage from the dishwasher, in which case customer
services should be contacted.
The dishwasher has filled with too much water and
the safety level device has been activated.
Repeat the cycle. If the problem persists, contact the
customer service department.
The dishwasher is unable to heat the water.
Repeat the cycle. If the problem persists, contact the
customer service department.
The dishwasher is unable to take in water.
Check that the water connections are correct and
that the water supply tap is turned on.
The dishwasher is unable to pump water away.
Check the discharge hose for kinks and the siphon
trap and the filters for blockages.
