4.4 Donning
• Make sure the comfort pads on the Velcro in
the front part, the upper part and the
headband are placed.
• Switch the KITE on by pressing the ON/OFF
button. After +/- 15 seconds a signal sounds to
confirm the correct function of the electronic
control unit.
• Put the KITE on the head, and adjust the
headband by pushing and turning the
adjustment wheel on the back.

Fold the elastic face seal around the chin by
pulling the face seal backwards.
• Warning: the face seal must be in full contact
with the skin around the face in order to give
maximum protection. Over time the face seal
will lose its elasticity and therefore it will not
function adequately. In doubt replace the face
seal.
