1. Loosen the 2 bolts (A) from the protective cover on
the left side of the product.

2. Remove the bolt, the washer and the nut (B) from
the protective cover.
3. Remove the protective cover (C).
4. Loosen the 2 nuts (D).

5. Turn the screw for the belt tension (E) clockwise.
The idler pulley (F) moves in the direction of the belt
to increase the belt tension.
6. Do a check of the pump belt.
a) If the tension of the pump belt is too low, turn the
nut for the belt tension some more.
b) Do this procedure again until the pump belt
tension is correct.

CAUTION:

7. Tighten the 2 nuts (D).
8. Install the protective cover, the bolts, the washers
and the nuts.
To increase the tension of the engine
belt
CAUTION:
engine belt must be increased after the first
2–4 hours of operation.
1. Loosen the bolt for the alternator (A).
2. Push the alternator forward to increase the belt
tension.
3. Tighten the bolt for the alternator.
4. Push the middle of the engine belt. The tension of
the engine belt is correct when the engine belt can
be pushed 0.28-0.35 in./7-9 mm (B).
