3.1 Vacuuming

WARNING:
Check the brush vacuum cleaner and the power cable
before each use. A damaged appliance must never be
used. There is a risk of injury.
ATTENTION:
Only use the brush vacuum cleaner if all filters are
correctly in place and once you have ensured that no
openings are blocked The filters and dust bag must not
be damaged and must be dry. Non-compliance can
damage the brush vacuum cleaner.
NOTE:
The brush vacuum cleaner has an overheating protection
device. It automatically switches off if it is overheated
(e.g. from blocked nozzles or if the dust container is too
full). If this happens, then turn off the brush vacuum
cleaner and remove the plug. Remove the cause of
overheating. Wait approx. 45 minutes. Once the brush
vacuum cleaner has cooled down you can switch it on
again.
WARNING:
The brushing roller is in motion when the appliance is
switched on. The roller must not be touched while
operating as there is a risk of injury. Therefore, turn the
appliance off and pull out the mains plug before adjusting
for the floor type.
1. Set the pile depth adjustment according to your type of
flooring.

- Hard floor
For short-pile carpets, hard flooring, laminate, tiles,

PVC, etc. turn the control switch entirely to the right
(Fig. 11/1).
- Long-pile carpet
For long-pile carpets, runners, etc. turn the control
switch entirely to the left (Fig. 11/2).
- Medium-pile carpet
For medium-pile carpets, runners, etc. turn the control
switch to the middle.
2. Unwind the mains cable from the cable mount
(Fig. 12/1) until you have reached the desired length.
