10. Troubleshooting

In purchasing the reversing video system with license plate camera, you have acquired a product
designed to the state of the art and operationally reliable.
Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur.
Therefore, we would like to describe how to eliminate possible errors here:
Always observe the safety information!
The screen shows no image when the reverse gear is inserted:
• Screen is not on.
• Ignition is not on.
• A video cable is connected to the VIDEO IN (9) connection.
• The radio channel is set incorrectly. Set the channel display (8) to channel 1 with the button
CH (15).
• The screen and/or license plate camera are not supplied with power. Monitor the connections.
• The camera is subject to extremely low temperatures. Wait until the temperatures have
increased again.
• The camera is strongly contaminated.
Interference at image transmission:
• Interfering devices are operated close to the system (e.g. wireless hands-free device, mobile
phone, radio transmitter, etc.).
The image is mirrored or twisted:
• The button image alignment (14) is set incorrectly.
Repairs other than those described above must only be carried out by an
authorised specialist.
