Signal converter AIR1-SK
2.0 Installation
The AIR1 unit and signal converter must be fully isolated from the mains power
supply before all maintenance and installation work and opening the terminal
compartment! The electrical connections must be carried out in accordance with
the wiring diagrams and must only be carried out by qualified electricians. The
electrical connection must be fully isolated until the final assembly!
1. Install the signal converter in a suitable place near the sensors.
The maximum cable length between the signal converter and the terminal box of the
AIR1 ventilation unit is 50 m.
The maximum cable length between the signal converter and the sensors is 50 m.
Recommended signal cable type: Shielded 2-core cable with a cross section of 0.5
mm² for each strand. The shield must be connected to GND in the switch box of the
ventilation unit.
2. Establish the electrical connections between the signal converter and the terminal
box (see wiring diagram in the installation and operating instructions of the corresponding
AIR1 ventilation unit.
