Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sen-
sory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards
involved.
Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left
unattended.
Never touch the device with moist or wet hands. Also, do not
touch the power cord or plug of the device while your hands are
moist or wet.
Do not use any accessories that have not been recommended by
the device manufacturer. Improper combinations can lead to fire,
electrical shock or injuries.
Never immerse the motor housing into water. Always remember:
your hand mixer is an electrical device.
To clean the device, always use just a moist cleaning cloth.
Remove beaters from mixer before washing.
Push the speed control switch into position «0» and unplug the
device to turn it off.
Pull the plug to remove it from the electrical outlet, not the power
cord.
Make sure that the power cord does not hang down from the ta-
ble or work surface and also prevent it from coming into contact
with hot surfaces, including the stove.
Unplug the hand mixer whenever it is not in use, if you want to
mount or remove accessories or clean the device.
Under no circumstances start up an electrical device if its power
cord or plug are damaged, after it has malfunctioned or if the de-
vice has been damaged in any other way. In such cases, always
bring the device to the nearest authorized service center for in-
spection, repair or adjustments.
Never attempt to replace the power cord of your device since spe-
cial tools are required to do this properly. Have such repairs and
