Pump pressure
The pump leaves the factory set at 12 bar.

Nozzles recommended
The burner complies with the emission requirements of the
EN 267 standard.
In order to guarantee that emissions do not vary, recommended
and/or alternative nozzles specified by the manufacturer in the in-
struction and warning booklet should be used.
It is advisable to replace nozzles every year
during regular maintenance operations.

On the basis of the required output, you need to choose the noz-
zle size and carry out the suitable settings, as illustrated in
Tab. A.

No change.
Check the adjustment parameters. Check sealing between the blast tube, the boiler and the
flue and check that the boiler door is tight.
Check penetration of the blast tube into the furnace. If the parameters are correct, change the
nozzle.
Turn the button (point V) to open the air damper to discharge a half grade or 3 taps (e.g. from
3 to 3.5 to obtain CO
2
Check the blackening index (if blackening index > 1 return to case N° 1).
Check cold start
Close the air damper. Check the blackening index (if blackening index > 1 return to case N° 1).

3.4.2
Changing the nozzle
To replace the nozzle (Fig. 19) proceed as follows:
unscrew the 3 screws 1) on the collar and remove blast tube

unscrew screw 3) and disconnect the high voltage cables 4);
remove the electrode-stabiliser assembly 5);
Clean this assembly without removing the electrode block.
Lock the nozzle holder 6) in place using the key and proceed
to replace nozzle 8);
unscrew the nozzle using a 16 open-ended spanner, and
replace it.
Refasten the nozzle onto the reheated line@ and refit the
electrode/stabiliser assembly, keeping the electrodes in the
correct position.
Take care to position screw 3) on seat 7).
