• You are also reminded that the equipment must always be electrically
connected to the ground.
The system connection diagrams provided by the manufacturer are
purely indicative and not binding, since it is up to the heating system
designer to evaluate, in compliance with the laws and regulations in force
at the installation site, the best possible system diagram, according to the
limits imposed by the data declared by the manufacturer.

Spaces required to replace the magnesium anode consisting of a
single bar on models with an anode fitted on the upper bottom (E2).
(in case of limited space, consult the catalogue for other compatible
anode types).
2.3 DHW tank installation
• Upon installation, check for the presence of magnesium anodes and
check the electrical continuity with the tank (in particular for anodes
without ground wire).
• Product must be installed in compliance with the national, local
regulations of the place of installation. In particular, the connection to
the domestic water supply of the DHW tanks must be performed through
a hydraulic safety unit compliant with standard EN 1487: 2002 and
including at least a shut-off valve, a check valve, a control device for the
check valve, a safety valve, a hydraulic load breaking device. All these
accessories are needed for safe DHW tank operation.
• Provide an expansion system on both (domestic and system) circuits.
Although some local standards and regulations state that this expansion
system can simply consist of a safety valve with appropriate dimensions,
the installation of a closed type expansion tank with non-toxic diaphragm
is recommended to avoid constant openings of the safety valve and to
avoid any unnecessary overload of the DHW tank.
• If domestic hot water system exceeds the max. permitted DHW tank
pressure values, install a pressure reducer as far as possible from DHW
tank.
• In general, for domestic hot water production systems, it is necessary
to comply with the national, local standards in force in the place of
installation on water treatment based on the characteristics of the water
itself.
The warranty does not cover any loss or damage arising from the failure
to comply with the requirements of the above-mentioned standards on
water treatment.
2.4 DHW tank maintenance
Frequent checks of the magnesium anode should be programmed in
order to verify its consumption and organise its periodical replacement
at least once a year.
• Upon start-up and after a few days of operation, check the tightening of
the flange bolts, which can be easily accessed thanks to the removable
flange cover caps.
2.5 Installation of the inertial accumulator (if provided)
The Inertial Accumulator must be connected to the generator on one side
and to the thermal system on the other side.
Provide for an expansion system as well as safety and control accessories
as set forth by the legislation in force in the place of installation.
• You are also reminded that the equipment must always be electrically
connected to the ground.
• Final user or system manager must be informed about the regular
maintenance of the system. System functionality and durability
significantly depend on correct maintenance.
