1) FOREWORD
The AXXEDO Q-BO SA residential access control kit lets you
manage access control and start services in condominium
applications.
It includes a 125kHz proximity reader, a backlit 12 capacitive
key keyboard, on-board memory of 400 user codes (output
activation codes), 2 activation outputs (entrance opening,
stairwell lights on) with programmable timer, built-in room
light sensor for automatic lights on and high efficiency buzzer.
WARNING: Keep the anti-tamper Allen key provided in
the kit.

When two AXXEDO Q.BO SA are installed, keep then at
least 1 metre apart.
3) INSTALLATION (Fig.B points 1-6)
Note: drill a hole in the centre of the base big enough for
wires to pass as illustrated.
4) TERMINAL BOARD WIRING FIG.C
WARNINGS - When performing wiring and installation, refer
to the standards in force and, whatever the case, apply good
practice principles.
Wires carrying different voltages must be kept physically
separate from each other, or they must be suitably insulated
with at least 1mm of additional insulation.
Wires must be secured with additional fastening near the
terminals, using devices such as cable clamps.

4.1) POWER
The AXXEDO Q.BO SA peripheral can be powered with voltage
from 12 to 24Vac/Vdc ±15% through PWR terminals.
4.2) OUTPUTS
The reader has 2 relay outputs (2A 30Vdc) with normally open

contact (NA) and programmable timer, identified with:
OUT1 -> entrance opening control
OUT2 -> stairwell lights on control
Each relay output timer can be set using the reader program-
ming function.
The stairwell lights on control - OUT 2 - can be activating by
holding down key E on the reader keyboard; this function can
also be turned on/off using dip switch 2.
WARNING: Use suppression filters to protect the device
from disturbances generated by inductive loads such as
relay coils, electro-lock coils and VDR to protect the reader
from transistors such as power surges.
5) DIP SWITCHES
The device includes a 2-way Dip Switch that can be used to
set some operating modes.

6) DIAGNOSTICS FIG.C
The reader includes 6 signal leds (L1-L2, on the internal circuit
and RDY, FBk, ERR and Ok, on the front of the reader) for
complete user diagnostics.
When the reader turns on, blue RDY, yellow FBk and red ERR
leds repeatedly blink.
The reader has a buzzer that signals the results of each user
action for immediate feedback.
