Aquarium Warranties

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY FOR 10-GALLON AQUARIUMS
What is Covered:
This 1-year limited warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, subject to the conditions and exceptions stated below.
For the warranty to be valid, you must retain the original sales receipt as proof of purchase.
This limited warranty for the 10-gallon aquarium is issued to you as the original purchaser, and lasts for 1-year from the original date of purchase.
The warranty terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the aquarium. The conditions and exceptions set forth below apply to the 1-Year limited warranty.
What is Not Covered:
This limited warranty is void under the following conditions and exceptions:
• If the aquarium is placed on a stand that is not commercially manufactured for use with an aquarium of this size and weight, or is inadequate to
accommodate the size and weight of the aquarium, or does not provide a flat, level surface capable of fully supporting the aquarium's bottom frame.
• If the required aquarium stand is modified from its original manufactured condition, including, but not limited to, removal of, or cutting of braces.
• If the aquarium is moved when it is not completely empty.
• If the sealant at the inside edges or corners of the aquarium is removed or cut.
• If the aquarium is exposed to extreme temperature fluctuations.
• If there is breakage of a tempered aquarium. Tempered aquariums are warranted against sealant failure only.
• If the aquarium is chipped or shows any glass damage due to impact, negligence or mishandling.
• If the aquarium is modified by an entity other than United Pet Group, a division of Spectrum Brands, Inc.
• If the aquarium is used for other than its intended purpose.
This 1-year limited warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, or failure to follow the accompanying instructions.
All implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for any purpose are limited to one year. Fish and plant loss,
personal injury, property loss or damage (direct, incidental or consequential) resulting from the use of the aquarium are not covered by this warranty.
Because some states/ provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow limitations on how long
an implied warranty lasts, the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This 1-year limited warranty gives you specific legal rights.
You may also have other rights which vary from state/province to state/province.
What United Pet Group, a Division of Spectrum Brands, Inc. Will Do:
We will repair, replace, or reimburse for the aquarium (at our option) if it is deemed to be defective in workmanship or materials.
How to Get Service: If this aquarium is found to be defective, contact the dealer for repair, replacement, or reimbursement instructions.
(Proof of date of purchase must be provided).

This 5-year limited warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, subject to the conditions and exceptions stated below.
For the warranty to be valid, you must retain the original sales receipt as proof of purchase.
This limited warranty for the 20-gallon aquarium is issued to you as the original purchaser, and lasts for 5-years from the original date of purchase. The
warranty terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the aquarium. The conditions and exceptions set forth below apply to the 5-Year limited warranty.
What is Not Covered:
This limited warranty is void under the following conditions and exceptions:
