2. Safety information

2.1
Operator's duty of care
The operator of the Sanoasa Wellness Multicentre cabin is respon-
sible for adherence to the statutory provisions during assembly,
operation, maintenance and disposal. Applications deviating from
the operating instructions will result in loss of warranty from the
supplier. Subsequent technical changes will render the CE certifi-
cation invalid and lead to the preparation of a new certificate of
conformity.
2.2
Safety devices and their functions
Sanoasa Wellness Multicentre cabins are equipped with the
following safety devices for operation:
Code lock for preventing changes to set values in the steam
generator control unit.
Automatic shut-off of the steam generator if operation is
uninterrupted for more than 4 hours.
2.3
Safety measures for maintenance and servicing
The operator must take the following measures in the event of
servicing or maintenance work to the Sanoasa Wellness Multicen-
tre cabin: For all repair, testing and maintenance activities, the op-
erator must clearly indicate the status of the system. This work
may only be carried out by trained and approved specialists. Non-
compliance represents gross negligence and means great danger
to life and limb. In addition, damage can occur to the steam
shower. The warranty and claims against the manufacturer will
cease to exist in cases of non-compliance.
2.4
Work on electrical equipment
The master switch must be set to off for all work on electrical
equipment or supply lines belonging to the steam shower. This
disconnects the steam shower from the mains, cutting off its
power. This work may only be carried out by trained electricians.
Personal protective equipment must be worn during all work on
the cabin. In addition, the cabin must be dry inside and out. The
equipment room sited at the cabin must be secured against unau-
thorised opening by the operator after the electrical work is com-
pleted. The equipment room is fitted with a lock for this purpose.

steam shower. The warranty and claims against the manufacturer
will cease to exist in this case.
2.5
Work on water-carrying pipes
If work is required on water-carrying pipes or systems, the opera-
tor must ensure that there is no pressure in the pipes and the
steam shower is safely disconnected from the public mains pres-
sure.This work may only be carried out by trained and approved
sanitary specialists. Personal protective equipment must be worn
during all work on the cabin. Non-compliance represents gross
negligence. In addition, damage can occur to the steam shower.
The warranty and claims against the manufacturer will cease to
exist in this case.
2.6
Observation of environmental protection
regulations
The operator must ensure that whenever work is performed on
the Sanoasa Wellness Multicentre cabin, no hazardous substances
get into the environment. This applies in particular when dealing
with chemicals used to descale the steam generator. The descaling
agent from wedi GmbH must be used for descaling. When the
Sanoasa Wellness Multicentre cabin is removed, the operator is re-
sponsible for its proper disposal. If a specialist firm is hired, the
customer must request and keep on file a certificate of disposal. A
list detailing the classification of the parts to be disposed of can be
found under Section 9 –Disposal.
