CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK GENERAL
Before using grease gun for the first time, if the battery pack is
installed in the gun, remove it by depressing the two battery
release buttons (on button on each side of battery pack) and
pull battery pack out of gun.
As a battery pack approaches the discharged state, you will
notice a sharp drop in tool performance. When the tool is
unable to perform the task at hand, it is time to recharge the
battery pack. Recharging the battery pack before this condition
is reached will reduce the total work life of the pack. Discharging
the pack beyond this point can damage the pack.
Note: Battery temperature will increase during and shortly after
use. Batteries may not accept a full charge if they are charged
immediately after use. Allow the battery pack to cool to room
temperature before charging for best results.
When the battery pack requires re-charging, a 1-hour charge
allows the tool to operate at full power. Do not re-charge the
battery pack longer than 1 hour, as damage to the battery pack
and/or charger will ocurr. Insert the battery pack into the
charging socket of the charger. Then, plug the charger into the
nearest 230 volt, grounded electrical outlet.
Once the green light appears with the battery pack on the
charger, press the reset button and the red light should glow
indicating the battery is charging. After 1 hour, the red light
changes to green indicating a fully charged battery pack and
that the charger has switched to trickle charge mode. The
battery pack may be left on the trickle charge until you are ready
to use.
Disconnect charger from power source when not in use. The
first charge should be for 2 hours before use.
Caution: Vent slots in top and bottom of charger must not be
obstructed. Do not charge battery when temperature is below
0 ºC (32 ºF) or above 40 ºC (104 ºF).
NORMAL CHARGING
Make sure power circuit voltage is the same as that shown on
the charger specification plate. Connect charger to power
source.
REMOVING BATTERY PACK
Depress the two battery release buttons (one button on each
side of battery pack) and pull battery pack out of grease gun.
TO INSTALL BATTERY PACK
Align battery pack with opening handle and push battery pack
into handle so as to lack it into place.

CARGA DE LA BATERÍA
Antes de usar la pistola de engrase por primera vez, si la batería
está instalada en la pistola, quítela presionando los dos botones
de liberación de la batería (un botón a cada lado de la batería)
y tire de la batería hacia afuera de la pistola.
A medida que la batería se aproxime al estado de descarga,
advertirá una brusca caída en el rendimiento. Es el momento de
cargar la batería. Recargar la batería antes reducirá la vida útil
de la batería. Descargar la batería más allá de este punto, puede
dañarla.
Nota: La temperatura de la batería se incrementará durante su
uso e incluso después. Las baterías podrían no aceptar una carga
completa si son cargadas inmediatamente después de su uso.
Para un mejor resultado permita que la batería se enfríe a
temperatura ambiente antes de cargarla.
Cuando necesite recargase la batería, 1 hora de carga le
permitirá a la herramienta funcional a plena potencia. No
recargue la batería por más de 1 hora, ya que podría ocasionar
daños a la batería y/o al cargador. Inserte la batería en la toma
de carga del cargador. Luego, enchufe el cargador en una toma
de corriente eléctrica de 230 voltios.
Una vez que la batería esté instalada en el cargador y aparezca
la luz verde, oprima el botón de reinicio y la luz roja brillará para
indicar que la batería está cargando. Después de 1 hora, la luz
roja cambia a verde para indicar que la batería está totalmente
cargada y que el cargador ha cambiado al modo de carga lenta.
La batería puede dejarse en carga lenta hasta que esté listo para
utilizarla.
Desconecte el cargador cuando no lo utilice. Cargue la batería
durante 2 horas antes de utilizarla por primera vez.
Precaución: No obstruya las ranuras de ventilación superior e
inferior del cargador. No cargue la batería con temperaturas por
debajo de 0 ºC (32 ºF) o por encima de 40 ºC (104 ºF).
CARGA NORMAL
Asegúrese de que el voltaje del circuito eléctrico sea el mismo
que el mostrado en el cargador. Conecte el cargador a la
corriente.
QUITAR LA BATERÍA
Para quitar la batería, presione los dos botones de liberación de
la misma (un botón a cada lado de la batería) y sáquela.
INSTALACIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
Alinee la batería con el mango y empuje la batería hacia el
mango de manera que encaje en su posición.
