• please read these instructions before operating the
appliance and retain for future use.
• the appliance is intended solely for domestic use within
the home.
• always use batteries which corresponds with the voltage
printed on the bottom of the appliance.
• If possible, always weigh yourself at the same time of
day (ideally in the morning), after going to the toilet,
with an empty stomach and without clothes to achieve
comparable results.
• minor deviation are normal. for example when you drink
1 glass of water a deviation of approx. 300 grams can
occur.
• do not stand on the scale with wet feet and do not step
on the scale when its surface is wet – danger of slipping!
• protect the scale against hard knocks, moisture, dust,
chemicals, major temperature fluctuations and heat
sources which are too close (stove, heating radiators).
• If you want to store the appliance for a long period,
please keep it in the original box and remove the
batterie.
• Always use the appliance on a secure, dry, flat surface.
• never use the appliance if it is not working properly,
or if it has been damaged. any intervention other than
cleaning and normal maintenance by the customer must
be carried out by an approved service centre.
• If you decide never to use the appliance again, we
advise you to dispose of it in special containers or at a
municipal waste collection point.
• never immerse the appliance water or any other
liquids.
• If the appliance is used for other purposes than
intended, or is it not handled in accordance with the
instruction manual, the full responsibility for any
consequences will rest with the user. any damages to
the product or other things are not covered by the
warranty.
