10 MAINTENANCE
10.2 ENGINE WEEKLY: (EVERY 50 WORKING HOURS) ________________________
Air cleaner two element type):
Remove the wing nut and the air cleaner cover. Check
both elements for damage. Replace if dirty or damaged.
Wash the foam element in a solution of detergent and

warm water. Allow the element to dry. Wet the element
in clean engine oil and install.
Clean the Paper Element:
Remove any loose dirt from the filter. You can use
compressed air. Blow from the inside to out. Do not use
a brush. Replace the paper element every 100 hours.
Assemble the parts in their original positions.
IMPORTANT
When you leave the machine, turn the fuel tap to the 'OFF' position.
Incorrect maintenance of the air cleaner will cause accelerated wear.
Service after 25 hours in dirty condition
CAUTION
Discard Used Fuel As Shown In Local Safety
Regulations.
Petroleum Products, like Engine Oil and
Fuel, Can Damage Your Skin. When You
Use These Materials, Wear gloves. If Oil or
fuel, touches the Skin, Clean the Area

10.3 CLUTCH AND LAYSHAFT COVER ______________________________________
Release the screws (A) and remove the drive cover.
Clean the Primary clutch and layshaft area. When
completely clean, replace the drive cover and tighten
the screws (A).

Check the brake band condition and adjust, see 8.14.
