V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
- The product is intended for domestic indoor use
- The product may not be used for other uses outside of the described scope in this manual.
- The product is not intended for professional or industrial use.
5.2- Presentation
The hose reel is driven and released by a spring, which can rewind the hose automatically.
A locking device controls the hose length pulled out or rewound.
A self-layering mechanism rewinds the hose cleanly onto the reel.
The reel can be swivelled through 180° to enlarge the range of use.
5.3- Connection
1- Connect the reel's plug (6) on a earthed-power socket. The LED indicator (3) will light on.
2- Plug the apparatus' plug into the reel's socket (1).
3- Pull the cable reel to the desired length; at each clicking sound the ratchet will locks the cable.
4- To retract the cable: pull on the cable backwards and release it slowly to rewind it.
5.4- CAUTION!
1- The cable reel is equipped with an automatic circuit breaker: if the cable overheats, the unit will
stop automatically.
Disconnect all the plugs and sockets and then unwind the entire cable to facilitate its cooling.
After cooling down the cable, press the red button (5) to reset the cable reel.
2- During the winding process, always hold the cable firmly and follow the winding until it is
finished.
To avoid high rewinding speed, it is necessary to unwind the full length of the cable, and then you
must always accompany the rewinding of the cable while holding it firmly.
