MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
2. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
3. Do not use abrasive products or materials to clean the unit as they may scratch the surface or
damage important components of the unit.
4. Use a mild soap and a soft cloth to wipe food residues from or around the components. The top
and bottom seals should be cleaned very carefully. No residue should remain on them as this will
damage the seals and make the vacuum chamber no longer seal properly.
5. 5. Make sure that the unit is completely dry before using it again.
Note:
● To avoid bacterial contamination, do not reuse bags after storing raw meat, raw fish or fatty foods.
Do not reuse bags that have been microwaved or boiled.
● After finishing your vacuum pack, always leave the lid down, but not locked in place. This will keep
the foam seals in good condition to ensure the vacuum pack is effective.
We recommend that you fold a piece of cardboard and place it between the base of the appliance and
the lid to prevent the seals from being compressed unnecessarily during storage of the appliance.
TROUBLESHOOTING & TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Before each use and after any shock, please check for signs of damage, wear and tear requiring repair.
Do not use this appliance if any part is damaged or defective.
Do not oil or lubricate this appliance.
If the appliance malfunctions while it is in operation, turn it off and pull the plug. Do not attempt to open
the control base. The appliance contains parts that are not accessible to the user. Repairs must be
carried out by a suitably qualified person. Repairs by unqualified persons may be dangerous.
If this appliance is dropped or accidentally immersed in water or any other liquid, unplug it immedia-
tely. Do not attempt to remove the appliance from the water until it has been unplugged! Do not use
an appliance if it has been dropped into water or submerged.
Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
