Channel Features
Mixer Controls
The EXM Pro10 features a compact mixer control
section, which allows users to independently control
input type, equalization and effects for each chan-
nel These controls are accessed by the Channel
Select buttons Simply tap the Channel Select but-
ton for the desired channel, and all settings for this
channel will be displayed and can be configured.
1. Channel Inputs
All three mixer channels are equipped with combi-
jack inputs, which can be used for balanced/unbalanced microphones, line level audio devices, or instru-
ment sources Additionally, channel 3 features an 1/8" stereo input jack and a Bluetooth® connection
(for wireless audio streaming); both inputs sum the signal to mono and mix it into channel 3
2. Input Types
Using the Input Type control on the mixer adjusts the
input gain to best suit the connected input type (Line,
Mic, Inst) The Level control adjusts the gain and relative
volume The Act/Clip LED ring will illuminate green when a
meaningful signal is being detected at the input and will
illuminate red if the signal is clipping For powering con-
denser microphones, 48V of phantom power is present on
the XLR portion of the combi-jacks
Note: The Act/Clip LED responds only to the
strength of the input signal and is not affected by the
channel's level control.
3. Equalization
The EXM Pro10 has a 3-band parametric EQ for each chan-
nel To set the EQ, push the EQ knob to switch between
Low, Mid and High You can then turn the knob to set the
desired level The EQ level is represented through an illu-
minating LED ring The default position for the EQ knob is
at 12 o'clock, where no EQ adjustments are being applied
Each EQ band is centered at 60Hz, 850Hz, and 10kHz
4. Effects
Each mixer channel comes with its own set of controls for
Reverb, Delay and Compression To set the effect, push
the Effects knob to switch between the three available op-
tions, then turn the knob to set the desired level The ef-
fect level is represented through an illuminated LED ring
The default position for Effects is fully counter-clockwise,
where the effect is bypassed
• A medium-sized Room reverb The control knob var-
ies the wet/dry mix of the reverb signal
• A fixed, 90ms Slap-back delay. The control knob var-
ies the wet/dry mix of the delay signal
• The compressor is configured with a fixed attack,
release and threshold that should suit most applica-
tions The control knob varies the compression ratio
from 1:1 to 3:1, and will automatically add an ap-
propriate amount of make-up gain based on the control setting
Note: The Input Type, EQ and Effects controls for channel 3 do not affect Bluetooth® signals
present on the channel.
