Battery Backup Assembly Instructions
WARNING
– To reduce the risk of serious injury:
• In the event of a power failure, the battery backup provided may not lift the user to
a fully raised position. To ensure lift functionality in the event of a power outage,
La-Z-Boy recommends a 300VA battery Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) which must
be purchased separately. The battery should be fully charged to ensure functionality.
Replace the power supply batteries every six months and after each power failure use.
