• Raise mower to highest position to allow access to
blades.
• Remove blade bolt securing blades.
• Install mulcher blades with trailing edge up towards
deck as shown.

HOLE IN BLADE MUST ALIGN WITH STAR ON MANDREL
ASSEMBLY.
7KUHH  EROW PDQGUHOV 
• Reassemble blade bolt, lock washer and fl at washer,
previously removed, in exact order as shown.
• Tighten bolt securely (30-35 Ft. Lbs. torque).
)RXU  EROW PDQGUHOV 
• Reassemble blade bolt.
• Tighten bolt securely (45-55 Ft. Lbs. torque).

• Install two latch hooks to mulcher plate using screw,
washer, lock washer, and weld nut as shown.
127(: Pre-assemble weld nut to latch hook by inserting
weld nut from the top with hook pointing down.
• Tighten hardware securely.

• Raise and hold defl ector shield in upright position.
• Place front of mulcher plate over front of mower deck
open ing and slide into place.

plate over tab on mower and position plate over mower
opening as shown.
• Hook front latch hook into hole on front of mower
deck.
• Hook rear latch hook into hole on back of mower
deck.
