7 Installation
7.1 Inserting batteries, replacing batteries
Remove the battery compartment cover on the rear of the product.

Insert two AA batteries into the battery compartment, paying attention to the correct polarity

(observe positive/+ and negative/-). The respective figure in the battery compartment will
help you ensure that you have the correct polarity.
Close the battery compartment again. Ensure that the sealing ring on the battery compart-

ment cover is in the correct position.
Note: If the battery indicator shows on the display, replace the batteries.
7.2 Connection to the water tap
Connect the timer to a water tap so that it always faces down vertically to prevent water from
entering the timer.
1. If a quick-release coupling is attached to your garden tap, remove it.
2. Check that the inlet filter inside the union nut faces up.
3. Wrap some thread sealing tape around the thread of the water tap.
4. Screw the union nut of the timer to the garden tap and hand-tighten it.
5. Install the hose connector to the outlet of the water timer.
6. Connect the garden hose to the hose connector.
7.3 Activating and testing the timer
Activate the timer before using it for the first time or after longer periods of not using it.
1. Close the water tap.
2. Press the manual control button .
3. Wait until "10
" flashes on the display.

You should hear a "click" sound. The click sound indicates the switching of the internal

6. Repeat the valve opening and closing steps 3 - 5 times.
7. Slightly open the water tap.
8. Test the valve by repeating the opening and closing procedure. Verify that water exits from
the outlet.
9. Close the water tap to prevent water from existing during configuration.
The timer is now ready for operation.

8 Basic operation
Important:
Close the water tap if you do not use the timer for longer periods of time to prevent water
leaks.
8.1 Locking the buttons
Lock the menu buttons to prevent accidental changes to settings.

8.3 Preventing irrigation during rain
You can prevent irrigation during rainfall by setting the rain sensor to activate when it rains. The
rain sensor activates as soon as rain short-circuits its contacts.
1. To set the rain sensor to activate during rain, press and hold the adjustment button

9 Configuring irrigation cycles
9.1 Set the current time
1. Press the menu button
to enter the clock settings.

to exit the clock settings.
9.2 Configuring irrigation schedules
You can configure 3 irrigation schedules. For each schedule, you must set the irrigation time
(when?), the duration (how long?) and the frequency (how often?). The settings menu will guide
you through each setting.
