Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
If the device will not switch on, check the following:
• Is the mains plug inserted in the plug socket correctly? Correct the fi t of the mains
plug.
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another plug socket.
• Check the fuse of the mains connection.
• Is the protective lid (4) closed correctly? Twist the protective lid (4) anticlockwise as
far as it will go.
