The surfaces of this scale are not intended for direct contact with food.
The foods to be weighed must be placed in containers suitable for
contact with food (e.g. plates, bottles, bags, etc.).
Packaging elements (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene, etc.) must not be
left within the reach of children as they are potential hazard sources and must
be disposed of in accordance with current regulations.
This product is intended only for the use for which it was designed, i.e. as a
scale for domestic use only.
This appliance must not be used for the following applications:
a) the determination of mass for commercial transactions;
b) the determination of mass for calculating a toll, tariff, tax, premium, fine,
remuneration, compensation or fee of a similar type;
c) the determination of mass for applying legislative or regulatory provisions
or for judicial assessments;
d) the determination of mass in medical practice in the context of weighing
patients for control, diagnosis and treatment reasons;
e) the determination of mass for manufacturing prescription medicines in
pharmacies and the determination of masses during analyses carried out
in medical and pharmaceutical laboratories;
f) the determination of price based on the mass for direct sales to the public
and the production of prefabricated packaging.
