Installing the fence and fence lead
1. Unscrew the Fence Socket cap until it is removed. Place the ring end of the
Fence Lead (red) onto the bolt, then replace the Fence Socket cap.
2. Attach the small crocodile clip at the other end of the Fence Lead to the
fence.
3. Prepare the fence. It is recommended to carefully plan the fence line. Avoid
rough, stony, or steep areas if possible.
Note: Multi-wire fencing is considered the most effective fence-energizing
technique. This involves using three or more single wires running parallel to each
other for a more prominent and efficient fence. Joint Clamps, necessary for multi-
wire methods, are not included with this product.
4. Place the Strain Posts and Corner Posts in the desired areas. Ensure each
post is securely fitted into the ground to avoid loosening during wire
straining.
5. Run out the wire. As you secure the wire to each post, tension it so there is
only a slight sag visible.
6. For a multi-wire system, start with the lowest wire first. Ensure each wire
runs parallel and will not touch the other wires when the system is live.
7. Attach the Fence Lead to the fence using the small crocodile clip.
8. Connect the battery lead to the battery and the energizer, or connect the
adapter to the power source and the energizer. Your electric fence energizer
is now ready to operate.
