5. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
the manufacturer's technical support service, or by an adequately qualified
technician in order to prevent any risks. The power cord must never be in
contact with the hot surfaces of the Weed Burner.
6. WARNING: During use, always place the support on a flat, regular surface.
7. During operation, do not point the device on people or animals and never
look at the hot air nozzle. Do not use this device in humid or rainy environments
or near explosive or flammable products.
8. Do not use the appliance near very dry places to avoid fire.
9. Do not cover the ventilation openings during use as this may cause a risk
of burns. Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on.
10. When using an outdoor appliance, use an extension suitable for outdoor
use.
1. Before using the tool, control its integrity, if there are any defective parts, or it has other conditions, which
could negatively influence its functions and safety. Remove all the packaging material and make sure that
the appliance is in good condition. If you have any doubt, do not use the appliance and contact our After-
Sales Service. Keep the packaging material (staples, nylon bags, etc.) out of the reach of children.
2. Before plugging the Weed Burner into a socket, check whether your voltage corresponds to the rating label
of the appliance. This appliance must be connected to an approved mains socket that complies with the
safety regulations on electrical systems for civil purposes. The electrical system must be specific for the
appliance rated voltage.
3. WARNINGS: Do not leave the Weed Burner on if you do not use it; it causes an early oxidation reaching
over-temperatures which could compromise the duration of the resistances.
4. The appliance must be used only for its intended use. Any other use than its intended purpose shall be
deemed to be improper and hazardous. The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for damages derived
from misuse of this appliance.
5. If the appliance does not work properly, immediately turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains
socket. For repairs, contact a technical support center authorized by the manufacturer, and require that
original spare parts be used. Using parts that do not conform to the product may seriously compromise its
correct operation.
6. When the appliance is not used and before any maintenance operation, the appliance must always be
unplugged.
7. Disorder and scarce lighting could cause incidents. Keep the working area always clean and well-lighted. Do
not use electrical appliances in explosive atmospheres, for example in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases or dust.
8. Always wear safety equipment such as eye protection and dust mask. Dress properly. Keep your hair, clothing
and gloves away from moving parts. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Loose clothes, jewelry or long
hair can be caught in moving parts.
9. The appliance is made of dangerous parts that should be kept out of reach of children.
Use only an approved extension cable suitable for the power input of the appliance and suitable for outdoor use. The socket
must be positioned at least 60 mm from the ground. Using a suitable cable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric
shock.
When using a cable reel, always unwind the reel completely. Inadequate extensions may be dangerous. Do not strike or
damage the power cord in any way.
Assemble the extension handle. The extension handle consists of two parts. Click to connect both parts.
Attach the extension handle to the device. Make sure that the extension handle firmly clicks into position. If using the device
as a weed killer you must use the extension handle. Hold the weed killer firmly by holding the end of the extension handle.
Ensure the extension handle is firmly fixed onto the device and that the device is turned off.
Install the weeding nozzle (8) to the device.
This product is designed with a cord retainer that prevents the power cord from being pulled loose while using. If using the
device as a weed burner you must make sure the power cord is retained by the cord retainer (9) and that the power switch
is on 0, before plug into the power socket.
To turn on the appliance
With the switch (1) you can choose between the two following temperature
• Setting I: 50°C (cooling)
• Setting II: 600°C
The volume of air in each setting 500L /Minute
Set the temperature to setting II.
