Allow the device about 45 seconds to heat up.
To kill weeds, hold the weeding nozzle over the weeds for about 5 seconds. During these 5 seconds the cell structure of
the weed is destroyed. As a result, the weed dies within a few days.
It is not necessary to completely burn the weeds, 5 seconds is more than sufficient.
For an efficient treatment the weeding nozzle should be held around 0 to 5 cm above the weeds.
The effects are not visible immediately but will take a while before they can be seen. It is more of a long-term effect.
Always keep the power cord away from the appliance's nozzle. Keep children and animals away from the appliance during
use.
To cooling the device
After working with the device at high temperature setting (position II), the device is getting very hot. So, it is suggested to
slide the switch (1) to position I, to quickly cool down the device before turn off and device for storage.
Before turning off the device, it must be cooled first. Select temperature setting I for at least one minute. The device can be
switched off thereafter.
To turn off the appliance
Slide the switch (1) to position 0. The unit is switched off. Unplug the appliance from power socket.
Switch off immediately the appliance when:
• Plug and/or cable are defective or damaged;
• The switch is defective;
• You smell or see smoke caused by scorched insulation from the appliance.
Make sure the appliance is placed correctly. Disconnect the plug before to remove the
device from the fire. Do not let the hot parts of the appliance to come into contact with the
cord or other inflammable materials. When used as a coal burner, the appliance must be
used without extension handle.
Remove the handle by pressing the button (5) and removing the extension handle from the
device. Secure the ignition nozzle (10) on the device.Set the temperature by placing the
switch in position II. Place nozzle under charcoal or wood.
Make sure the device is positioned correctly. The tripod could be used to hold the device
firmly in the correct position.
Plug the plug into the socket. Verify that the nozzle is not locked before turning on the power.
Remove the device from the boom or wood as soon as it starts to burn.
Now blow hot air into coal or wood from a distance of about 5-10 cm, until the braid or wood
burns properly. This will help to avoid damaging the nozzle. By exposing the nozzle to high
temperatures for a prolonged period of time the material could be melted.
Caution: To avoid overheating of the barbecue or fireplace do not use the device for more
than necessary.
Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect it from the mains socket and wait for it to cool down.
This appliance requires no maintenance except cleaning of its external surfaces.
Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to prevent overheating of the engine. Regularly clean the machine housing
with a soft cloth, preferably after each use. Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt. If the dirt does not come off
use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water. Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These
solvents may damage the plastic.
Always store appliance not in use away from the reach of children.
Make sure that the device has completely cooled down before storing.
Do not store away the packaging. Use it to store the appliance when not in use. Store the appliance in a dry area.
