SYMPTOM

Moveable nose too far from workpiece
Lack of power; slow to cycle
Tool dry, lacks lubrication
Broken head valve spring
O-rings cut or cracked/gasket damaged
Exhaust blocked
Trigger valve worn/leaks
Dirt/grime built up on driver
Sleeve not seated correctly on nose
Head valve not seated correctly on sleeve
Head valve dry
Air pressure too low
Contact arm valve exhaust/port/channel
blocked
Skipping fasteners; intermittent
Worn magazine

Dry/dirty magazine
Broken/chipped driver
Trigger valve O-ring cut or cracked
Leaking deflector gasket
Wrong sized fasteners

Place nail point in metal connector hole/make sure tool is
not tipped so magazine is in contact with work surface
Lubricate tool using D
WALT pneumatic tool oil

Replace head valve spring
Replace O-rings/gasket
Check top seal, head valve, deflector cover; replace
Replace trigger valve assembly
Disassemble to remove driver; clean driver
Disassemble to correct
Disassemble to correct; replace
Disassemble/lubricate
Check air supply equipment
Disassemble/Check/Clean; replace assembly
Replace magazine
Clean/lubricate
using D
WALT pneumatic tool oil

Replace driver (check driver piston O-ring)
Replace trigger valve assembly
Tighten screws; replace gasket
Use only recommended fasteners
Discontinue using these fasteners
Tighten all screws
Check air supply system to tool
