Safety instructions for electric tile saws
• The surface of the work table must be flat and free from scratches.
• Do not exert excessive pressure on the table surface.
• Keep your hands away from the rotating blade.
• Do not remove a jammed blade without first switching off the unit and removing the plug from the power socket.
• Check the water level in the tank when cutting. The water tank should not be empty.
• Only water must be poured into the water tank. Refilling the tank with solvents is prohibited.
• When the unit is not in use and before carrying out maintenance work, always disconnect the unit from the power source.
• Periodically check that the locking screw is tightened and that the blade is securely fastened to the shaft.
• Before starting the machine, the blade must be carefully checked for any cracks or damage. If the blade is damaged in any way, it must be replaced
immediately.
• Keep the cable away from the blade and place it in such a position that it is not pulled in by the moving parts of the machine.
• Before operating the unit, make sure that all adjusting keys have been removed.
• Never cut objects without wearing protective gloves. Tiles must be cut using the depth stop and angle gauge which are on the work table. Under no
circumstances should you cut very small workpieces which are difficult to position safely on the machine or where cutting would require you to use your
hands to move the workpiece.
• Ensure that the workpiece has enough space to be moved sideways. Failure to provide sufficient space may result in the workpiece being blocked from
moving and cutting.
• Do not cut more than one tile at a time.
• Make sure that the work table and its surroundings are clean.
• Before starting to cut tiles, start the unit and let the blade run for a few seconds. If the blade makes strange noises or vibrates excessively, switch off the unit
immediately and unplug the power cord to find the source of the problem.
• Allow the motor to spin the blade to full speed before starting to cut.
• Allow the blade to come to a complete stop before removing blocked material.
• While the unit is running, never touch its moving parts or the blade.
• Never remove pieces of the cut object while the cutting disc is in motion.
• Ensure that the cut pieces do not remain in the blade.
• Never leave the unit unattended while it is running or plugged into an electrical outlet. Always switch off the unit and remove the power cord's plug from
the socket before leaving the work area.
• Never use the blade without water. Dry cutting (without water) causes rapid wear and can contribute to blade and motor damage.
• Use only suitable transport equipment to transport the unit. Never use covers to move or transport the unit.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning: Never connect the power cord's plug to a socket before all installations and adjustments have been made and the safety and
operating instructions have been read and understood.
• Open and place the folding stand on a solid and level surface that can support the weight of the unit itself as well as the work materials. Special care must
be taken when placing the unit on the surface.
• Ensure that the power source and electrical outlet are compatible with the unit.
Warning: The unit must be earthed. If the unit is not properly earthed, electric shock may result. Ensure that the power outlet is earthed.
If in any doubt, consult a qualified electrician for further information.
