SECTION 8 − TROUBLESHOOTING
8-1. Troubleshooting Table
Trouble
Motor/blower will not start or continue
running.
Air flow cannot be adjusted.
Decreased air flow.
Fume extractor discharges fumes or
particles.
Filter Monitoring light stays On.
Check input power connection.
Check fuse F1, and replace if open (see Section 7-4)
Check motor brushes (see Section 7-3).
Have Factory Authorized Service Agent check unit.
Tighten Air Flow Control knob mounting screw.
Reconnect collection hose to connection port.
Inspect collection hose and replace if damaged.
Remove obstruction from inside of collection hose.
Clean or replace filter (see Section 7-2).
Have Factory Authorized Service Agent check unit.
Inspect filter (including gasket) and replace if damaged or dirty. Be sure filter is installed properly.
(See Section 7-2).
Check seal between upper and lower units.
Tighten filter mounting screws.
Have Factory Authorized Service Agent check unit.
Clean or replace filter (see Section 7-2).
Check for obstruction in grommet and fitting (static pressure sensing passage) in filter case section
(see Section 7-2).
