• Check all parts to make sure that they fit
tightly.
• Check whether pressure has built up in
the compressed air system.
• Check whether the compress air connec-
tion and the pressure pipes are tight.
Compressed air supply
NOTICE! Risk of product damage! 
Only operate the device with cleaned,
condensate-free and oil-atomised
compressed air.
Note: Always use screw thread seal-
ing tape (e.g. Teflon tape) when
screwing the plug-in coupling into the
device.
• Fittings and hoses must be designed in
accordance with the pressure and the
required air quantity.
• Always use a compressed air mainte-
nance unit with a filter pressure reducer
and oil-mist lubricator.
– Remove the protective cap (8) (► P. 3, 
fig. 2).
– Screw the plug-in coupling (9) into the
hose connection (5) (► P. 3, fig. 3).
– Plug the compressed air hose into the
plug-in coupling and allow to engage
firmly (► P. 3, fig. 5).
Set the rotational direction
– Clockwise rotation: Push the switcher (2)
into position [F].
– Anticlockwise direction: Push the
switcher (2) into position [R].
Set the torque
► P. 3, fig. 4
– First push the setting screw (4) downward
and then turn the setting screw to the
desired torque level.
Switching On-Off
– Switching on: Press the On-Off switch (3).
– Switching off: Release On-Off switch (3).

Fill with oil
DANGER! Risk of injury! Before all
work on the device, disconnect the
compressed air supply.
Note: For direct lubrication of the
device or for addition to the com-
pressed air maintenance unit we rec-
ommend motor oil SAE 10 or SAE 20.
– Lay the device down flat.
– Unscrew the oil filling screw (6).
– Fill in oil to overflow.
– Screw the oil filling screw (6) back in
again.
Storage and transport
Storage
• Store the device and any accessories in a
dry, well-ventilated place.
• In case of longer periods without opera-
tion, protect the device and its accesso-
ries against soiling and corrosion.
Transport
• Use the original packaging to ship when-
ever possible.
Troubleshooting
If something stops working...
DANGER! Risk of injury! Improper
repairs can result in the product func-
tioning unsafely. This endangers
yourself and your environment.
Malfunctions are often caused by minor
faults. You can easily remedy most of these
yourself. Please consult the following table
before contacting the vendor. You will save
yourself a lot of trouble and possibly money
too.
