Malfunctions and troubleshooting
In the event of a malfunction...
DANGER! Danger of injury! Improperly
conducted repairs may prevent your appli-
ance from working safely. Such repairs will
endanger you and your surroundings.
Fault/malfunction
Motor does not run
The suction power is too low
Strength of vacuum falls off.
Dust leaks out.
If you can't fix the fault yourself, contact your nearest
vendor. Please be aware that any improper repairs
will also invalidate the warranty and additional costs
may be incurred.
Malfunctions are often caused by minor faults. You
can easily remedy most of these yourself. Please
consult the following table before contacting the ven-
dor. You will save yourself a lot of trouble and possibly
money too.
Cause
No mains voltage?
Filter deposited?
Nozzle, vacuum hose, or vacuum
pipe blocked?
Filter inserted incorrectly?
Remedy
Check cable, mains plug, socket
and fuse
Clean/replace the filter
Check, and clean if necessary.
Insert the filter correctly.
