• Never operate the device in humid or wet sur-
roundings.
• Never try to suck liquids using the device.
• Do not suck any suction material having tempera-
ture higher than 50 °C using the device.
• Never try to suck sharp-edged and pointed
objects (e. g. pieces of broken glass or nails).
• Never try to suck explosive medium such as
gases, paint and lacquer mist or sources of igni-
tion.
• Never direct the vacuum pipe towards yourself or
others in order to clean clothes or shoes.
• Never vacuum objects which contain materials
injurious to health (e. g. asbestos).
• Use only extension cables, make sure they are
suitable for the product and the environment.
• Remember that moving parts may also be located
behind ventilation and venting slots.
• Symbols appearing on your device may not be
removed or covered. Signs on the device that are
no longer legible must be replaced immediately.
Read and observe the instructions for use be-
fore using the product for the first time.

Setting up
Mounting the handle

– Screws the handle (1) to the motor unit using
screws (9).
Installing the castors

– Release locking clips (8) and remove motor unit.
– Stand the appliance on its head.

– Place castors (7) to the device as shown in figure
and let them engage.
Inserting the filter

– Push the pleated filter into the filter basket.

– Push the fire protection filter onto the pleated fil-
ter.
– Lock the fire protection filter by turning slightly
clockwise.
Installing the vacuum hose
– Insert the locking sleeve of the vacuum hose into
the vacuum nozzle (4).
– Fix the bayonet lock by briefly turning in counter-
clockwise direction.
Operation
Check before switching on!
Check the safe condition of the appliance:
– Check whether there are visible defects.
– Check that all parts of the appliance have been
securely fitted.
– Check whether the switch is on [0] before you
insert the plug into the outlet.
Sucking ash
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the appli-
ance! Use the product only with the
enclosed mains adapter.
If ash is sucked, the temperature of the ash
may not exceed beyond 50 °C.
Do not suck ash if the fire is not yet extin-
guished!
– To switch the appliance on, set the On/Off
switch (2) to [I].
– To switch the appliance off, set the On/Off
switch (2) to [0].
Filling level indicator
The filling level indicator (3) shows that the filter is
very dirty or that the collection container is full.
When the filling level indicator (3) is lit up red, the col-
lection container and the filter must be emptied or
cleaned.
