ESR EXPLAINED
ESR is an application that allows you to play games burned onto a DVD by fooling the PS2
into thinking its an original game disk.
To use ESR all you need to do is download an .ISO PS2 game. Once downloaded you will
need to patch it. To do this simply google and download the 'ESR patcher GUI'. Open the
GUI and select the 'Patch' option. This will then allow you to search for a .ISO file and then
select the one you want to patch.
The next step is to download an image burning software such as ImgBurn. Using the default
settings, a slow write speed and a DVD-R blank disc, you can choose the .ISO you wish to
burn and choose 'Write to Disc' ... this will take some time.
Once complete place the newly burned disc into your PS2 and restart it.
ESR should automatically detect the disc and open it (this does take a couple of minutes). If
it doesn't load, try selecting ESR from the list of options on the PS2 home screen. If you still
can't get it to work, try troubleshooting your burned disc as it does require precise settings
for an ESR disc to work
