WHAT IS MCBOOT?
McBoot is one of the most tried and tested soft mod methods you can find, originally
developed by Jimmikaelkael and Neme. McBoot works with PlayStation 2 Memory cards
and home-brew applications. It will allow you to install and run PS2 games from a backed
up .ISO file and will also allow you to play games made by smaller developers. These games
are not officially licensed and often programmed by non-professional game designers.
Free McBoot allows these home-brew games to be launched on the PS2 games console.
Using Free McBoot simply involves downloading and installing the game. It is a fairly
straightforward process that almost any regular gamer will be able to complete. Especially
as Kaico have simplified this process as much as they could making it much easier for the
end user to work with.
IMPORTANT: SAFETY INFORMATION
Connect only one McBoot Memory card at a time.
Don't save additional game data to the McBoot memory card as this may cause file
corruption. Always save game data to a secondary non-modded PS2 memory card.
Turn off the power of the PS2 before removing the McBoot memory card.
Do not expose to moisture or excessive heat sources.
The McBoot memory card is not a toy and is not designed for use by children.
IMPORTANT: DISCLAIMER
McBoot is completely free software available for download from the internet. The project
is ran by Jimmikaelkael and Neme and Kaico is not associated with the project in any
way, shape, or form. As McBoot is very difficult to install initially if you don't already have
access to a McBoot memory card, Kaico provide a quick and easy solution by providing a
fully functional tried and tested new memory card, along with a complete installation. This
allows users to get access to a working McBoot version both quickly and easily.
